i always love japanese products cause' you always get quality despite it may sometimes be pricey, i love products that labels MADE IN JAPAN, MADE IN USA, MADE IN ITALY and of course MADE IN PHILIPPINES, i had severe break outs and nasty pimple marks when i moved here in Manila from my beautiful hometown Davao City, due to pollution, stress from work and other factors..i was used to a clear face but now i had this nasty noticeable pimples and marks that is even more stressing me out and lessens my confidence (pictures below), some may try to put layers and layers of make up but that wouldn't help the skin more and do you any good, i tried organic soaps that had good reviews an testimonies but i had break outs more which is sad because i'm into organic products, and hoping it was the one that'll end my dilemma..
i got the Kose soap in a online shop in instagram @casademori which offers authentic japanese products, it retails for 950.00 pesos ($21.31) but got in on autumn sale for 850.00pesos ($19) last october 2014, and had a freebie which was the Maiko (Geisha) 3D lip balm, it comes with a clear case with japanese characters printed on it and the name of the soap at the lower portion..you can see the square shaped soap wrapped in a plastic cover..
using the soap , i'm amazed that the soap itself doesn't easily dissolve despite using it for three months now..i used the soap the moment it arrived in my mail because i had a huge zit, i washed my face and leave it for 1 minute then rinsed it, I instantly noticed that the zit dried and decreased its size.
my nasty marks have not yet totally been gone but i noticed that my forehead had no break outs any more (except when my monthly period is coming), the marks became smaller , some marks lightened up..on my second month i actually loose my faith on the product, because i wanted fast results especially on those marks, this product is slowly doing its work on severe marks but i can really notice the changes on my skin, on my forehead and my skin became smoother, i use it twice a day in between my bath and when i remove my make up before sleeping..
i say you need patience when using this product but it's worth it...it may be pricey compared to other facial soaps but this goes a long way.. it is like buying a 300 peso worth cleanser monthly in a 900 plus peso worth soap in one purchase that goes a long way.. what i fear about the product though is, since i can't read Japanese Characters the case itself doesn't show expiry date which is kinda scary, but over all i'll definitely re purchase the product..here are my recent photos of my face after three months of using ( January 2015)..
i was happy to get it since it was a freebie( who wouldn't like to get free item/s?) and i'm grateful for it, it comes with an outer packaging which is red small box and with a Geisha woman and Japanese characters, it has a white cap that has a Geisha print on it and light pink balm container.. i first noticed the smell of it, it smells like a menthol balm, and when i used it, it felt like putting a non-greasy petroleum on my lips, i always use balm before i put lipstick especially when i am using matte one, it had a minty feel on lips but through out the day, it unfortunately did chapped my lips, which is a big no no for me, i use it for a few more times but it didn't really do well, personally, i would not purchase the product since it will just be sitting on my counter.
Japanese products may usually of good quality but sometimes some products don't do meet your needs too, but i say the Kose soap was really a worth buying product.. it may be slow but it surely is doing something.. if this had helped you please dolike or comment below..arigato!
